All About Autumn was a workshop on the autumn/winter timetable for 2015.

This workshop was a chance to create unique pieces of art using natural materials from the local area.

Using twigs, leaves, seeds and pods.

We experimented with different printing techniques.
Using acrylic paint and writing inks, we created beautiful collages and works.

We made clay leaf bowls, using fresh leaves to imprint into the clay.

These were painted to look resemble some impressively life-like leaves.

As the winter season progressed the leaves began to dry out and we could no longer use them for  different printing techniques....

but we took a lot of joy in listening to the sound, and feel of the leaves change.
And found a spot of mindfulness in the session.

As we were no longer able to use our materials to print, we used them to inspire us.
Using polystyrene (repurposed pizza bases!) we created our own version of printing blocks and made some wonderfully creative pieces.
